Since 2009, Dr. Ajiluni has been a member of AOD’s team of specialists. His special interests are less-invasive total knee and total hip arthroplasty, minimally invasive partial knee replacement, complex reconstruction, and arthroscopy.
Dr. Ajluni is a native of metro Detroit. He graduated from Brother Rice High School and received his Bachelor Degree from Michigan State University. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathy at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. He completed his Internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Mclaren Macomb Hospital followed by a fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at Joint Implant Surgeons in New Albany, Ohio under the direction of the world renowned surgeons Drs. Lombardi and Berend. Dr. Ajluni's special interests include muscle sparing Anterior Hip Replacement surgery along with Makoplasty Robotic Partial knee replacement surgery. He has extensive training in less-invasive knee replacement surgery along with complex reconstruction and "redo" surgeries of the hip and knee. He performs a wide variety of arthroscopic procedures of the knee and shoulder along with general orthopedics and fracture care.
Dr. Ajluni is Board Certified and on staff at William Beaumont Hospital Grosse Pointe, Mclaren Macomb Hospital, St. John Main and Macomb Hospital, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, and Premier Surgical Center of Michigan. He is accepting new patients and will provide second opinions.
