Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Andrew F. Ajluni, DO, brings over 15 years of experience in less-invasive total knee and total hip arthroplasty, minimally invasive partial knee replacement, complex reconstruction, and arthroscopy to Associated Orthopedists of Detroit PC in St. Clair Shores and Shelby Township, Michigan, serving patients throughout Macomb County.

Dr. Ajluni is a Detroit native and graduate of Brother Rice High School. He earned his bachelor's degree at Michigan State University in East Lansing, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Then, Dr. Ajluni completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, followed by a fellowship at Joint Implant Surgeons in New Albany, Ohio. While on staff, Dr. Ajluni focused on adult hip and knee construction under the guidance of renowned orthopedic surgeons Dr. Adolph Lombardi and Dr. Keith Berend.

Dr. Ajluni loves helping patients get back on their feet again, specializing in muscle sparing anterior hip replacement surgery and MAKOplasty® robotic partial knee replacement surgery. Dr. Ajluni also offers complex reconstruction and "re-do" surgeries of the hip and knee, as well as various arthroscopic procedures, fracture care, and general orthopedics.

Dr. Ajluni has staff privileges at William Beaumont Hospital Grosse Pointe, McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt. Clemens, and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan, as well as Premier Surgical Center of Michigan, also in Clinton Township. He's affiliated with the Michigan and Macomb Osteopathic Societies, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and American Academy of Osteopathic Orthopaedic surgeons. Dr. Ajluni is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
