Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Steven J. Cusick, MD, brings over 30 years of experience in orthopedic and musculoskeletal health care, as well as hand and spine diseases, to Associated Orthopedists of Detroit PC, located in St. Clair Shores and Shelby Township, Michigan, serving patients throughout Macomb County

Dr. Cusick began his professional education at Wayne State University in Detroit where he earned his undergraduate degree in biology and his master's in occupational and environmental health.

After graduation, Dr. Cusick enrolled at Michigan State University in East Lansing, earning is Doctor of Medicine in 1985. Dr. Cusick then completed two residencies at McLaren General Hospital in Flint, Michigan; one in internal medicine, and the other in orthopedic surgery. During this time, Dr. Cusick also participated in specialty rotations focusing on pediatrics and hand and spine diseases.

Professionally, Dr. Cusick has staff privileges at William Beaumont Hospital Grosse Pointe in Michigan and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital - Clinton Township. He also holds membership in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Society, and the Michigan Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Cusick is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
